Guest Room/Office!

We finished painting and setting up our guest bedroom/office last week! Finally, I feel like a grown-up! Not that being pregnant, buying our first house, and getting a real job hasn't affected that feeling - Ha! My AMAZING big brother, Jason, installed lights in the ceiling and set it up to where we can install a fan later. He is so great! My equally amazing father and husband did an excellent job painting...I was a GREAT observer!!

It is amazing how much a little paint and a few days will do! I am so thankful for all of the help in preparing our home for baby Braelyn and guests!! I am sure once she is born, we will get a lot of use out of our beautiful guest bedroom!! Now - on to Braelyn's room!!!

Braelyn!

We are so excited for Braelyn Elizabeth Mitchell's arrival! I have been on bed rest for 11 weeks due to some complications. Thankfully, Braelyn is extremely healthy and getting stronger by the day. We have doctors appointments weekly and have had good reports for several weeks. Recently, I was told that they would allow me to get off of bed rest at 35 weeks, which is only six weeks away!! Valentine's weekend - Here we come!! It is such a relief to have an actual day to look forward to. There is a big possibility that Braelyn's arrival will not be long after that!!

God has blessed me with an amazing husband, Daniel. He has taken care of me through all of this, and has handled my meltdowns like a champ! I am so thankful to have such an amazing partner who has held my hand through all of the ups and downs that life has brought. We will celebrate our two year anniversary on June 21st!! Wow! So much has happened in our lives since we said "I do."

He is going to be such an amazing father!! Braelyn already has him wrapped around her little finger, and she isn't even here yet!! Can we say - Daddy's Girl?!?!

It is amazing to think that in as little as six weeks, we may be holding our little baby girl!! Can't wait!! God is amazing!!
